Volunteers working with and in our programs to reduce poverty is a critical part of Community Action’s mission to mobilize community resources. We invite you to join our team and serve the participants of Community Action. We work with many community groups, individuals, businesses, universities, and students to match volunteers with meaningful opportunities. Our goal is to have each volunteer enjoy their position while they serve our organization and learn new skills in the process.
We have more than 1,600 volunteers working across Ramsey and Washington counties serving in Head Start classrooms, approving loans for our Car Ownership program and researching public policy. Our volunteers are committed to our mission and passionately work toward completing it.
Our goal is to have each volunteer enjoy their position serving our organization while learning new skills in the process. We occasionally have volunteer openings in areas such as:
And various other roles assisting those we help in the community!
