Community Action’s Self-Sufficiency programs are designed to assist participants and their families with choices that will lead to self-reliance. We do this by providing a holistic approach to the entire well-being of the family and ensuring the empowerment of each family member. We offer five primary services to our participants:
- Family Assets for Independence in Minnesota (FAIM) – a matched savings program
- Project Success – support for those seeking employment
- Financial Literacy – learning to make sound money management decisions
- Car Ownership Program – helping working families purchase cars
- Food Support Benefits – stretch your food dollars
