For more than 30 years, Community Action has been at the forefront of energy conservation, weatherizing approximately 13,000 homes in Ramsey and Washington counties. Using the latest technologies, we perform energy audits, assist with furnace repair or replacement, and perform home weatherization. Energy Conservation provides services to both low-income households through the Low-Income Weatherization Assistance Program and to the general public through Contract Services.

What is Weatherization?

Weatherization improvements are made to a home to help conserve energy, maintain temperature, and provide a safe and healthy living environment. Community  Action’s Energy Conservation Program provides homeowners and renters on fixed or low-incomes with free home energy upgrades necessary to help lower their monthly energy bills, and decrease their carbon footprint on the environment.

Low-Income Weatherization Assistance Program

We offer Energy Assistance customers free energy audits. This process occurs after applying for Energy Assistance. There is only one application to submit. Weatherization will not only lower your future home energy bills, but improve the efficiency of homes in our community and improve our environment as well. To schedule your energy audit and insulation work call 651-482-8260.
